We plan Newcastle court attendance around train timetables, and for multi-day hearings we stay overnight in Newcastle.

We're realistic about what the travel time means in practice. We don't pop up to Newcastle for a 30-minute meeting. Instead, we handle preliminary consultations, disclosure reviews, and draft report discussions by video call. We travel for court hearings, conferences with counsel, and key meetings where being in the room matters. That approach works well - it keeps costs reasonable while making sure we're present when it counts.

For urgent matters, we can leave Manchester in the morning and be at Newcastle Combined Court Centre on the Quayside by early afternoon. It's not ideal for 9:30am hearings unless we travel up the night before, which we do when the diary requires it. Travel and accommodation costs are transparent and agreed in advance.

We also cover Durham, Sunderland, and Middlesbrough from our Manchester base. For Teesside cases, it can be quicker to drive via the A1(M) than to take the train through Newcastle.
